The carbon footprint of an organisation defines the amount of
Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions resulting from a company's activity.
It is expressed as a quantity of CO2 equivalent (CO2e).
The quantification of the carbon footprint is a suitable tool for all those companies that want to adhere to a voluntary commitment system to reduce GHG emissions, which contributes to the demonstration to third parties of the organisation's commitment to social responsibility through its climate change mitigation requirements.
